Meet Anna
Certified Exercise Physiologist + Inclusive Fitness Trainer
Growing up my family always encouraged me and my siblings to play and stay active. I was a part of team sports from an early age which taught me the importance of teamwork and resilience. In school, gym class was always my favorite part of the curriculum and during my time at VCU, I decided that I would pursue my love of fitness as a career path.
Since earning my Bachelor's of Science in Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, I have worked as an Exercise Physiologist in the physical rehabilitation setting at NeuroFit. For three years, I learned the ins and outs of adaptive exercise and worked with a variety of clients with physical and neurological disabilities. During my time there I was promoted to Program Coordinator, a position that gave me the confidence to continue to grow in my career.
I absolutely loved the work I was doing and I had a vision of going out on my own and building a community around inclusive exercise. Through GRIT, I set out to create accessible exercise for everyone with the convenience of in-home services. Since 2020, I am proud to say that the GRIT community continues to grow!
I am looking forward to the future of GRIT and I cannot wait for you to be a part of this journey with me.
Thank you for your support!
MY VISION
My vision for GRIT is to become a resource for EVERY BODY to come together with the common bond of fitness & personal growth.
Getting stronger, physically and mentally, will only have a positive impact for whatever life throws your way!
